Zimbabwe Economy
Zimbabwe's economy is diverse. Agriculture, mining and manufacturing sectors are of great importance. 35% of the working population is engaged in agriculture, 30% in industry and trade, 20% in services and 15% in state affairs. The main agricultural products of the country are tobacco, sugar, cotton, corn and wheat. Clothing, chemical industries and light industry has evolved. Most of the energy required for manufacturing is produced in Kariba Hydroelectric Power Plant. The main underground riches of the country; chrome, gold, nickel, asbestos, copper, iron and coal.
