2. CSR Generation and Upload

The certificate provider requires a CSR file to generate the SSL certificate. The CSR file is generated from the server where your website is hosted.

When generating the CSR, make sure to follow these guidelines:

• Write the company name and address exactly as they appear on your tax certificate.
• Do not use Turkish characters and generate it as 2048-bit.
• Ensure the domain name is accurate, as it cannot be changed later.

3. Document Preparation

• Tax Certificate: A document issued by the tax office that includes your tax number.
• Accountant's Opinion Letter: A document confirming the financial status and legal existence of your company, usually written by a certified or sworn public accountant.

Note: If your business is registered on dnb.com or you have a DUNS number, you may not need to submit the Accountant’s Opinion Letter.

4. Verification Process

• Email Verification: The certificate provider typically verifies through an email address belonging to your company. This email is usually on the company’s domain (e.g., [email protected]). If such an address does not exist, we recommend creating one.
• Phone Verification: Some providers may require phone verification. Make sure your company’s phone number is correct and active.
• Business Information Verification: The provider may request official documents (such as trade registry or tax number) to confirm the company’s existence. Prepare these documents in advance.

5. Installation

Once your certificate provider approves the request, they will send you a .crt file. This file is your SSL certificate. You will need to install it on your server.
