Gmail / Hotmail vs Business Email

A professional email address builds customer trust, reduces spam risk and strengthens your brand.

Criteria Gmail / Hotmail Business Email (Atak Domain)
Brand perception yourbiz@gmail.com — Looks personal info@yourbiz.com — Professional
Customer trust Low — "Is this a real business?" High — Credible and corporate
Department addresses Not possible info@, sales@, support@, billing@
Spam risk High — Especially for bulk sending Low — SPF, DKIM, DMARC protection
Data privacy Risk of ad-based analysis GDPR compliant, secure infrastructure
Ads Ads visible Completely ad-free
Price Free (personal) From $0.99/mo — Very affordable
Sales conversion Low trust = Lower sales Professional look = More sales

SPF, DKIM, DMARC and MX Records

Check your DNS security records to prevent your emails from going to spam and ensure secure delivery.

SPF Record

Specifies which servers can send email on your behalf. Prevents spam issues.

Check My SPF Record

DKIM Signature

Verifies email content hasn't been tampered with via cryptographic signature. Google and Yahoo require it.

Check My DKIM Record

DMARC Policy

Defines what to do when SPF/DKIM fail. Full protection against domain spoofing.

Check My DMARC Record

MX Record

Specifies which server incoming emails are routed to. Wrong MX = No email received.

Check My MX Record

Important: Since 2024, Google and Yahoo require SPF, DKIM and DMARC for domains sending 5,000+ emails/day. Without these records, emails go to spam or get rejected. Atak Domain packages configure all these records automatically.

Most Common Email Problems and Solutions

Solution

Reset your password via Webmail (mail.maillb.com). Make sure you're using your full email address as the username.
