The Union of Comoros is an island country attached to the African continent and is located in the eastern part of the continent, at the northern end of the Mozambique Canal, off the coast of Mozambique, west of the Indian Ocean, and northwest of Madagascar. They consist of four archipelago; Great Comoros, Anjouan, Mayotte, Moheli. The area is; 1862 km2. The Capital is Moroni.

Economy of the Comoros
The economy of the Comoros is based on agriculture and fisheries. The industry has never developed. Agriculture is done by classical methods.
