Brazil's industry has evolved. It is a country of agriculture because of its high agricultural activities. More than half of the cultivated land is food products but cannot meet domestic consumption and therefore imports some of the food need from outside. Brazil owns the world's most abundant iron reserves. Near Salvador, there is oil. In the Amapo region abundant manganese is removed. There are very few coal deposits in Brazil. It closes the gap with the way of importing from the outside.
