Spanish Economy
Spain is an agricultural country, but about two-fifths of its territory is being processed. The remaining areas are either arid or very mountainous so they are not suitable for agriculture. Livestock is developing in Spain. The Atlantic Ocean coast of the country is a major fishing region. In terms of fisheries, it ranks third in Europe after Russia and Norway.
The Spanish industry is developing day by day. Today, 40% of the country's working population is employed in this sector. Our main products are; machinery, cotton and wool woven, footwear, paper, automobile, ship (fourth among world states), cement, steel, cast iron and iron.
