SSL is an English acronym that stands for Secure Sockets Layer. It is commonly recognized by the “https://” prefix and the padlock icon in web browsers.
An SSL certificate ensures that data transmitted between the server and the web browser (such as usernames, passwords, credit card details, etc.) is encrypted for secure communication.
The SSL service is linked to the domain name and becomes active upon activation. Once the certificate is in "Active" status, it is no longer eligible for a refund.
