.radio.am Domain: an Address Built for Radio and Audio
.radio.am is technically an address space under .am, the country code extension of Armenia; the parent name radio.am was registered in the Armenian registry on 27 January 2004. The zone is not run by the Armenian registry but by BRS Media Inc. of San Francisco under its «dotRadio» brand, with technical registry services from CentralNic and publication from the servers a.nic.fm through d.nic.fm. The operator positions the extension for radio stations, online broadcasters, content creators and audio technology companies.
The eligibility gate is not closed: you do not have to be a broadcaster, submit documents or hold any link to Armenia. The terms and conditions in force since 15 March 2018 state twice that names are registered first come, first served, and ask the applicant for only three representations — that the application is made with authority, that the name does not infringe third-party rights so far as the applicant knows, and that it is not registered for any unlawful purpose. The zone works, and that was measured: on 13 August 2026 registered names queried against the authoritative server answered correctly, while unregistered names returned «no such name». The rules also cover emoji and multilingual names in two separate appendices, but treat both as experimental and place on the registrant the risk that a name may be suspended if technical standards change. Domain Is Active (Active Period)
Once registration is complete the domain is yours for the term you chose. You can renew at any point before expiry to keep it uninterrupted, or switch on auto-renewal so you never have to watch the date.
Redemption Period (Redemption Period)
The domain is not released the moment it expires — during this window it is still yours and can be recovered. Some extensions charge an extra restore fee at this stage, so renewing before expiry is always the cheaper route.
Pending Delete Period (Pending Delete Period)
If the redemption window is missed too, the domain enters the final stage and waits to be deleted. Renewal and recovery are no longer possible here; when the period ends the registration is removed for good.

Under ICANN's UDRP. Clause 15 of the terms and conditions incorporates the dispute policy by reference and states that the version in force is published on ICANN's site; clause 16 adds that any dispute arising from use of the name is subject to that policy. The operator is not an arbiter: the text says plainly that BRS Media will not take part in disputes between the registrant and others, and that the registrant will not name the company as a party.

The operator defines a separate service for this, called «Register-Transfer». A registrant reselling a premium name requests it; the operator uses it to guarantee that the name passes to the new registrant, and the fee for the service is paid by the incoming registrant.
