No. The extension takes its name from the zone's original architecture and was historically opened for commercial entities, but the rules in force list it among the open extensions and ask the applicant for no capacity, no document and no declaration of trading activity. Documents are required only in the closed subdomains, which serve education, government and the armed forces. Nor must you be established in Guatemala: the registry defines separate domestic and international workflows, but that split decides only which tariff applies. A company based in Türkiye and an individual acting on their own behalf register on the same terms, and no cap is set on how many names one holder may take.

The payment method decides. When you pick a name the record first enters the «reserved» state, and that state lasts four calendar days; if no payment arrives the name returns to the open pool automatically. Paying by credit card through the registry's own site makes registration automatic and immediate. Paying by bank deposit, the record is processed within a maximum of four working hours after the receipt reaches the registry. An international wire waits for the bank's confirmation and can take three to seven working days. Name servers are not mandatory at registration and may be added later. The zone file reloads on the hour, so DNS changes go live at the next full hour.

The registry's own description confirms it: when it lists the record types it will hold for you, it names only three — NS to point the name at a name server, A to bind an IPv4 address for servers under your own name, and AAAA to do the same for IPv6.
